PRESS RELEASE AND DESCRIPTION OF ARTWORKS (2017)
This project included translating a press release of a group exhibition and descriptions of contemporary artworks (installation, sculpture and film) from French to English.
INSTAGRAM LIVES (2020)
Given their closure during the lockdown, museums and cultural venues had to put events and exhibitions online. This project involved transcribing and translating one hour-long interviews between an artist and a curator from English to French. The deadlines were tight (24 hours). Themes included protests, gender, politics, racism and illness.
THE PAVILLON LEDOYEN (2020)
This project required the transcription and translation of promotional videos filmed at the Pavillon Ledoyen restaurant from French to English.
PRIVATE JETS (2020)
This project gave me the opportunity to translate a private jet company's website from English to French which involved translating the services they offer and the 'about the team' and 'practical information' sections. I also translated two market studies.
LOANING OF ART AND AN EXHIBITION CATALOGUE (2019)
This project gave me the opportunity to translate documents regarding the loaning of small and large sculptures from French to English. I also translated texts written by curators and art critics and proof-read an exhibition catalogue.
